Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy of Deadpool & Wolverine have officially joined the billion-dollar box office club

 By the end of the weekend, the film is expected to have earned around $1.029 billion globally

with $494.3 million from domestic ticket sales and $535.2 million from international markets 

This makes it the first superhero movie to reach the $1 billion mark since Sony and Marvel’s

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Deadpool & Wolverine is now the 55th film to cross this milestone 

and the second film of the year to do so

Predictions suggest that the film could ultimately reach between $1.2 billion
